The Role
As Marketing Manager, you will report into the Senior Management Team. You will own
both the Marketing and New Business functions, building these out with SMT to ensure they
are as efficient and effective as possible, with the ultimate goal, to make the client famous and
obtain more incredible clients and attract the best talent.
The Marketing Manager drives things forward, the driving force behind the
marketing and new biz processes, accountable for both important functions to
operate smoothly, whilst continuously looking for ways to improve the way we do things.
You will act as the brand guardian to ensure that they are always represented to the best of its
ability, Via. Thought Leadership / PR / Website / Case studies / Social Channels / Owned
Content / to help drive our new business efforts. In this you will have a meticulous eye for
detail and be a total perfectionist.
The Marketing and New Business Manager is the one that understands everything that is
happening in the business and are able to keep everyone informed, by keeping track of
status documents, timings plans and budgets. You will interact with account teams to ensure
the agency’s work is being amplified throughout our live campaigns.
Your role is to go above and beyond, doing things proactively before being asked. You will
have a clear vision for these important functions, and a sense of what everybody needs to do
and by when and why.
As our client’s Marketing Manager you will also support proactive initiatives, such as their insights
pieces, Events and Webinars and to lead or support new business calls when required. This
will mean you will be required to understand how to prioritise what is important.
It is important to build cross business relationships and shared practices with their sibling
agency and their marketing and new business teams.
Marketing Lead
● Develop and lead the year round marketing strategy for the agency
● Manage the annual marketing budget
● Work with the team leads to maintain the campaign and marketing calendar to
ensure all key campaign dates are added to not miss opportunities for marketing
content
● Produce creative briefs and manage external videographers/photographers to
capture content at key events
● Drive forward the client win, through to to case study process to ensure that each
team is providing the content to maximise campaigns across our owned channels
● Act as brand guardian
● Manage PPC and SEO
● Work closely with their Editorial and PR Director to secure industry press and coverage
● Identify key awards and manage our submission
New Business
● Work closely with their CEO to market our services to key prospective clients and qualify
opportunities
● Manage the internal client database
● Produce the monthly client mailer
● Project manage webinars, research and thought leadership pieces to drive new
business
Social Media
● Lead all of their owned social channels, including Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok
● Develop a strategy for growing our network across all key channels
● Work collaboratively across the agency to produce content with our youth network
● Ensure all our work is presented at a high quality through copy and visuals
Website
● Refine case studies, blog posts and thought leadership to keep our website up to date
● Support with our website rebrand
Skills and Experience
Must Have
● At least 3 years working in a marketing role within an agency or brand
● Experience managing social media accounts
● Managing Digital and IRL events
● Strong writing skills
● Confident at presenting / pitching
Nice to Have
● Paid Social understanding
● Photoshop / design software experience
● Experience with SEO and PPC
